Health and safety statement for James Bros

It is the intention of James Bros (Hamworthy) Limited that its work will be carried out in accordance with all relevant statutory provisions, and that all reasonably practicable measures will be taken to avoid risk to our employees and the employees of others.

Management and supervisory staff have the responsibility for implementing this policy throughout the company and must ensure that health and safety considerations are of are priority in planning and the day-to-day supervision of work.

James Bros (Hamworthy) Limited will ensure that all employees are made aware of their responsibilities for health and safety and are given sufficient information, instruction and supervision to enable them to carry out their duties effectively and safely.

All employees and contractors are expected to co-operate with the company in carrying out this policy and must ensure that their work is carried out without risk to themselves or others.

The Directors have particular responsibility for health, safety and welfare for James Bros (Hamworthy) Limited.

Reference should be made to the Directors in the event of any difficulty arising in the implementation of this policy.

The operation of this policy will be monitored by management and staff of the company together with the Quality Assurance and Safety Manager on an ongoing basis. This manager will visit the sites and workplaces and give advice on matters relating to health and safety.

The written statement or organisation and arrangements for implementing the policy will be available through the management structure and at each location, for reference by any employee, as required.
